Taste Dining Experiences: Melbourne presented by Diners Club is giving you a taste of what a true collaboration should be like with an intimate soft launch this month between Peter Gunn of IDES and Mal Meiers of Subo, Newcastle.
Do not underestimate this duo. Mal was Pete’s 2IC and left to travel around Europe, cooking, learning and has come back full of knowledge and inspiration! Mal currently is Head Chef of Subo making waves in the dining scene of Newcastle, NSW and also is founder of Food for Thought, a charity to raise awareness of mental health in the hospitality industry.
For one night only, the pair will collaborate on five courses to give you a taste of a genuine collaboration between two chefs. You will be greeted with a specially curated Tanqueray gin cocktail, taken on a journey through five courses with one of the dishes uniquely paired with Sapporo beer and to end it all off, a moreish Tanqueray gin nightcap to send you off.
